HOBBY & COLLECTIONS

Con lo spirito e l’etica del fotografo naturalista mi diletto in questo magnifico hobby. Sono iscritto dell’AFNI (Associazione Fotografi Naturalisti Italiani) sezione Friuli Venezia Giulia. Fotografo sia paesaggi che flora anche se trovo più divertente fotografare gli animali nel loro habitat. Regala sensazioni uniche, difficili da trasmettere o descrivere a parole. Emozionante è trascorrere le notti in alta quota dove puoi fotografare una moltitudine di stelle che dalle città non sono visibili. Sei immerso in un “silenzio assordante” e ti trovi disteso a guardare l’immensità del cielo stellato dove riesci a scorgere la meravigliosa via lattea ….. Tutto questo mi crea un piacere intenso da cui trovo difficile allontanarmi e alla fine penso che fotografare sia solo una buona scusa per entrare in contatto con la natura.

With the spirit and the ethics of a naturalistic photographer I enjoy this wonderful hobby. I’m a member of ANFI (an association of Italian Naturalist Photographers) local branch of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Landscapes, plants and flowers are my favourite subjects, but from time to time I like to take pictures of animals in their environment. The sensations I feel are difficult to describe in words but they remain unique.It’s exciting to spend long nights in the mountains at heights, where you can take pictures of thousands stars you can’t see in town. You go deep into the “deafening silence” and you lay on the ground and watch at the immensity of the starry sky where you can admire the Milky Way… these visions make me feel an intense pleasure I can’t part from and make me think that maybe taking pictures is only a simple excuse to keep in touch with nature.
